Company Profile Videos – A Must for Every Website
I’m often asked: “If I only have enough budget for one video right now, what would you recommend”. And the answer is always the same, a Company Profile Video for your website.
Other people will call this an “About Us” video since in many ways it can replace your “About Us” page or enhance it.
No matter what you want to call it…this is the one video that’s a must for every business website. The goal of this video is to quickly introduce your company (in 2 to 3 minutes or less)…explaining what you do, what makes you unique, and most importantly why you do it.
If produced properly, these videos will accomplish 2 very important goals:
- Increase visitors’ time on your website. An engaging video will keep a potential customer on your website for 2 to 3 minutes while they learn more about your company or product offering. Much longer than someone who is just skimming headlines and copy.
- Improve Online Conversions. Watching your Company Profile Video can impact how someone feels about your company…and then motivate them to take the next step. This is why your video should end with a Call To Action (CTA) or there should be an easy-to-find CTA built into your website pages.
